Botox is made from a neurotoxin called botulinum toxin which is produced by the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum. Cosmetically, it is used in anti-aging treatments and to treat conditions like Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and Migraines. All it does is that it paralyzes muscles by blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles where it is injected. The effect usually shows up 2-7 days after the treatment and lasts for 3 to 4 months. Eventually, the muscle grows new receptors and gets back to normal. There is NO damage caused to your nerve. It is commonly used to treat forehead lines, crow’s feet (lines around the eyes) and frown lines.

Lip enhancement or beautification of lip becomes tough to execute in people whose lip rolls in when they smile. Here is one such before and after case where you can clearly see the inward rolling lip in the before image when the patient smiles. After enhancement, it is evident that there is an increase in lip volume and the inward rolling isn't there anymore. I have used both fillers and little bit of #Botox to get this amazing result for the patient. This definitely was one of the toughest cases that I worked on. . . . #lipenhancement #lipfillers #botox #botalks #lips #drrashmishetty #lipinjections #juvederm #walllift #liplift

A lot of non-Indian faces need a little bit of volume in the lower face. However in this rare case, I added a very little volume which helped take away the multiple Creasy look from the lower face. I have also placed judicious amount of filler in a perfect layer which doesn't make the patient's face look full and round but only youthful and healthy. . . . #drrashmishetty #fillers #botox💉 #botalks

What is the procedure like?
The skill of the injecting doctor is what guarantees a desirable aesthetic outcome and avoids unwanted effects. At Ra, a personal assessment is done by Dr. Rashmi for each of her clients. Post which a numbing Botox cream is applied on the area which has to be injected after cleaning it. Then after a 45-minute wait during which the Ra team will pamper you and help you relax, Dr. Rashmi injects the protein into pre-decided muscles with the tiniest possible needle. This may take 15 minutes or less and post which you are good to go.
